Job Opportunity : Plastic Fabricator / Welder

A client of ours located in Tigard is looking for a Plastic Fabricator / Welder. Under the general direction of the Production Supervisor, you will prepare, fabricate, and weld various plastic constructions, components, and structures.

Responsibilities :

• Weld, glue, bend, and polish various plastic materials.
• Use tools : table saw, routers, band saw, chop saw, power hand tools.
• Utilize hand deburring tools like scrappers, countersink tools, sandpaper, scalpel.
• Use measurement tools : micrometers, calipers, height gauge, go / no-go for tapped holes.
• Read and understand product blueprints and assembly instructions.
• Focus on Copy Exact and ensure quality production.
• Safely store and maintain production parts, tools, and documents
• Report product issues to supervisor.
• Follow cleanroom procedures for cleaning and packaging.
• Bag, label, and package products for safe shipping.
• Available for off-site field service work as needed.

Requirements :

• Welding proficiency, with a preference for plastic welding experience
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret written materials.
• Capability to perform mathematical calculations, proportions, and percentages.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other company software relevant to the position
• Possession of a valid driver's license
• Comfortable with regular lifting and / or moving up to twenty pounds; occasional handling of up to fifty pounds.

Schedule : Full-time, Monday to Thursday, 6AM 4 : 30PM

Pay : $24 - $34 / hr. DOE
