Quality Control Inspector – $22 -Manufacturing Facility in Port of Catoosa
Day Shift
Requirements:

• HS Diploma or GED.
• Experience with calibration of inspection and test equipment preferred.
• Experience in an ISO 9001 environment preferred
• Must be able to read and interpret Engineering drawings and Customer Specifications
• Must have working knowledge of all industry welding codes (AWS D1.1) and standards
• Working knowledge of Nondestructive Examinations, and Powder Coating
• Must be able to use a variety of precision and non-precision inspection and test equipment
• Must interface with Manufacturing and Engineering personnel and provide support, if necessary, in interpreting and defining product quality criteria
• This position may also require operating overhead or jib crane

Day to Day Responsibilities:

• Carries out inspection and test activities in accordance with established quality plans, engineering specifications, and procedures in order to verify that the specified requirements for the product have been met.
• Performs incoming, in-process, and final dimensional and visual inspection and/or testing of materials and products to determine compliance.
• Records the results, which provide evidence that the product has been inspected and/or tested.
• Observes and inspects mechanical devices in operation which may consist of listening to equipment in operation to determine mechanical needing adjustment or replaced some disassembly is required to access certain devices needing to be observed, mechanical skills are required in repairing mechanical equipment.
