**Lead Painter** **Duties:** - Oversee and coordinate painting projects from start to finish - Prepare surfaces for painting, including scraping, sanding, and priming - Apply paint, varnish, or other finishes using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment - Ensure proper color mixing and matching according to specifications - Repair and patch damaged areas prior to painting - Supervise and train other painters on techniques and safety procedures - Maintain a clean and organized work area - Follow all safety guidelines and regulations **Experience:** - Minimum of 3 years of experience as a professional painter - Strong knowledge of color theory and the ability to match colors accurately - Proficient in trim carpentry and the use of hand tools - Experience with airless paint spraying equipment - Knowledge of remodeling techniques, including stucco application and drywall repair - Ability to read blueprints and interpret project specifications - Basic math skills for measuring surfaces and calculating paint quantities We offer competitive pay based on experience.
