Job Title: Audio Director

New Life Church's mission is to make disciples in the Pikes Peak region, by calling people to worship, connect and serve.
Job Summary
To serve New Life Downtown by providing leadership and support in audio for Sunday morning services.
Duties and Responsibilities

• Responsible for serving as Audio Engineer and overseeing all audio aspects of Sunday morning services; monitor on-stage and online streaming quality during services, communicating with the team effectively.
• Help the Production Director research technical specifications and purchase / repair audio equipment within budget parameters and maintain current equipment.
• Set-up and tear-down audio equipment on Sunday mornings.
• Work with Production Director to collaborate regularly with the Worship Pastor for improving audio quality of live services and online streams.
• Assist in recruiting, leading, and developing the audio team.
• Help build relational strength between the audio, production, and worship teams.
• Help with audio coverage for Thursday night rehearsals when needed.

• Be able to work well under pressure and time constraints, utilizing multi-tasking skills and assessment of the priority of the moment, in an environment of changing priorities and demands.
• Demonstrate ability to work independently and as part of a team in a flexible and cooperative manner
• Proven organizational and people skills
• Show proficiency in computer skills including use of MS Office and familiarity with church database systems.
• Show proficiency in Planning Center Online.
• Present as positive and personable with caring and encouraging disposition.

Physical Demands

• Moderate to considerable physical activity; requires handling of objects up to 50 pounds, standing or walking for extended periods, climbing ladders, bending, and squatting, crawling in tight spaces, and use of protective equipment.
• Work environment may involve some exposure to hazards or physical risks, which require following basic safety precautions.
• Work may involve moderate exposure to unusual elements, such as extreme temperatures, dirt, dust, unpleasant odors, and/or loud noises.
