Job Summary:

Focuses on productivity improvement and cost reduction. Also, ensures the facility is always in a good and safe condition. You would typically work desired shift but from time to time be required to come in on different shifts for various needs. Ex. training employee, observing operations, etc.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Inspect facility periodically to determine problems and necessary maintenance items
• Plans, reviews, and approves the preparation of budgetary items and capital planning for maintenance department (long and short term)
• Prepare weekly maintenance schedules and allocate work
• Provides necessary training, support and guidance to team members
• Plans and implements effective procedures and policies for maintenance to ensure that all equipment tools, facilities and utilities are in an acceptable state of repair
• Monitors completion of projects to ensure that safety and quality standards are met
• Approves requisitions relating to new and replacement parts, supplies, machinery and equipment for the plant
• Participates in management discussions and planning sessions to help formulate cost reduction, product improvement, problem solving activities and presents operational performance
• Performs and/or participates in 5S housekeeping, team activities, dress codes, safety rules and all other applicable company policies and procedures
• Performs other work-related duties as assigned
• At least some knowledge with computers and Microsoft programs

c) reporting on the performance of the quality management system and on opportunities for improvement;

d) ensuring the promotion of customer focus throughout the organization;

e) ensuring that the integrity of the quality management system is maintained when changes to the quality management system are planned and implemented.

Qualifications and Skills:

· Bachelor’s Degree / Technical Degree or

· High School Diploma / GED and 3 years in the related experience

· Must be able to create detailed maintenance reports

· Knowledge of health and safety practices and regulations

· Understanding of budgeting and performance management

· An eye for detail

· Ability to work in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

. Follow all OSHA and TOSHA regulations.

Pay: $60,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
