Job Description:

Seeking an experienced Scientist for 6 month contract. This position is 100% onsite in Morrisville, NC for a biotech company.

The position will primarily focus on laboratory execution of analytical method validation protocols. Individuals in this role are expected to execute protocols as written, assess the data and troubleshoot under supervision. Analyst are expected to follow cGMP documentation practices and initiate deviation, lab investigation, method revisions and other related activities within the quality system. The successful candidate will perform biochemistry-based techniques such as UPLC/HPLC (SEC, IEX, RP, glycan, affinity, etc.), capillary electrophoresis (icIEF, CE-SDS), gel electrophoresis, UV, western blot (SDS-Page), and spectrophotometry (SoloVPE) for method validation activities.

Skills:

• 2 years Scientist experience
• 2 years of experience working in a GMP environment
• 2 years of experience working with electrophoresis (icIEF, CE-SDS, SDS-PAGE)?
• Experience with large molecule analysis (preferred)
• Bachelor’s Degree in a scientific field

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $32.00 - $36.00 per hour
