The Supervisor Patient Access Services oversees the daily operations of the assigned area of responsibility and assigned personnel in the department. Adheres to National Patient Safety Goals as appropriate based on the level of patient contact this position requires. INTEGRIS Health is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
- Bachelors degree or 4 years experience in lieu of Bachelors degree
- Additional 3 years experience in hospital access (scheduling/registration/insurance) operations billing, collections, accounts receivables or related field
- Minimum 1 year experience in leadership role or position
- Previous experience with common computer information systems used for hospital patient accounting and personal computer systems
- CHAM certification preferred
- Previous experience with insurance billing procedures, accounts receivable functions and hospital financial policies
- Previous experience with third party regulations, federal requirements, pertinent contract requirements and limitations
- Previous experience using medical terminology
- Previous experience with Microsoft Office
- Must be able to communicate effectively in English (Written/Oral)
