Integrative Emergency Services is Hiring a Marketing and Event Specialist - Hybrid Near Dallas, TX

Integrative Emergency Services, LLC (IES) is looking for a Marketing and Event Specialist to facilitate event coordination ranging from small networking events to our participation in national conferences. This person should be skilled with venue outreach, vendor coordination, securing participation from speakers or sponsors, coordinating logistics, and finalizing agendas. This role will also be responsible for creating, editing, and posting media - both digital and print. This person will have a key role in the successful development, direction, and delivery of events of varying size and scope to promote the education, training, and/or success of IES and its constituents.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Performs the following functions as it relates to Communications :
    • Assists in the development, implementation, and execution of a comprehensive communications strategy for IES and its affiliated partners/groups (as appropriate)
    • Assists in drafting, coordinating, and/or distributing all corporate communications (written and verbal) including emails, memos, newsletters, presentations, talking points, and videos.
    • Supports operations of distribution lists in various communication platforms.
  • Performs the following functions as it relates to Marketing :
    • Oversees social media sites and websites for IES and its affiliates (as appropriate) including developing and publishing content for a strong social media presence on platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and LinkedIn for IES and its affiliates (as appropriate).
    • Maintains current IES brand standards ensuring brand integrity across the business including advertising, clinical literature, promotional items, website, signage, presentations, and collateral.
    • Organizes and manages materials, photos, flyers, content, etc. on OneDrive/SharePoint.
  • Performs the following functions as it relates to Events & Sponsorship :
    • Works with partners (departments, provider groups, etc.) to develop strategies to leverage trade shows, exhibitions, and/or conferences to promote IES and its affiliates.
    • Responsible for coordination of assigned events, meetings, conferences of varying sizes and scopes. For other events, assists leader and team as directed.
    • Works with various constituents to define, outline, and execute event goals, objectives, timelines, agendas, budgets, contingency plans, risk mitigation, resource allocation and processes to deliver successful exhibitions, promotional events, corporate events, site events, conferences, training and educational sessions, meetings, etc.
    • Secures and manages various external partners/vendors engaged to assist in the production of events.
    • Works with vendors to manage event contracts as well as projects/events to stay within budget.
    • Develops and executes marketing/PR plan to promote exhibitions, events, conferences, meetings, etc. including invitations, social media, advertising etc.
    • Partners with internal Quality and Education stakeholders on educational offerings.
    • Partners with presenters (clinical and non-clinical) to develop effective presentations, PowerPoints, talking points, and/or collateral to meet goals and objectives.
    • Coordinates with clinical and non-clinical staff for successful achievement of event goals and objectives.
    • Conducts timely debriefs of events and make recommendations to elevate future projects/events.
    • Identifies prospect lists for solicitation. Partners with leadership to develop holistic solicitation strategies for various sponsorship prospects.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Ability to use graphic design and communication platforms to create marketing material, videos, etc.
  • Strong verbal/written communication, interpersonal, project management and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in digital marketing, including SEO, SEM, social media, and Google Analytics.
  • Creative thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to independently follow through and follow up on tasks and items. Outstanding proofreading skills.
  • Project management skills with the ability to prioritize and manage projects and deadlines.
  • Team player with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and a strong customer service orientation.
  • Ability to establish and maintain positive working relationships with management, business units, vendors, clients, suppliers and customers.
  • Ability to use discretion appropriately and maintain confidentiality.
  • High levels of proficiency with MS Office applications and Office 365.
  • Ability to read, write and speak English proficiently.

Education / Experience: Include minimum education, technical training, and/or experience preferred to perform the job.

Required:

  • At least three years experience in marketing, communications, events planning or related field.
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to travel to and from work events.

Preferred:

  • 2 years experience with event management and coordination
  • 1 years experience with SEO applications
  • Experience with WordPress design
  • Experience with Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Canva, MailChimp.
  • Experience with Social Media Management Platforms
  • Bachelors degree in Marketing, Business, or related field.
  • Prior Healthcare industry experience.

  • Occasionally lift and/or move up to 20-25 pounds
  • Fine hand manipulation (keyboarding)

  • Subject to come in on additional days for meetings or special events

  • Some travel, including overnight stays, may be required - up to 10%
  • May visit hospital locations, vendors, or events
