The Director of Sales Engineering / Solution Consulting for the financial services industry is responsible for a global pre-sales Solution Consulting team covering all Intapp products and solutions. This highly engaged leader works closely with marketing, product and sales leadership to establish GTM plans and execute pre-sales activities that optimizes market share and revenue. Leadership and management responsibilities span the full spectrum of pre-sales including the management of demonstration environments, building, and growing the Solution Consulting team and managing team performance across territories and the full breadth of Intapp products. Success will largely be determined by an inclusive, collaborative leadership style, a must-win attitude, engaging communications, and consistently exemplary ability to position the Intapp advantage. What you’ll do: Lead, manage and mentor a global team of pre-sales Solution Consultants. Actively participate in GTM planning and execute Solution Consulting requirements including hiring, onboarding, and re-aligning the Solution Consulting team. Establish and re-align demonstration environment strategy and manage execution by Solution Consultants and supporting functions across the company. Provide technical/functional leadership and enablement to the sales team including demonstration enablement to select stakeholders. Ensure Solution Consultants maintain deep functional and technical knowledge of all Intapp solutions and key competitors. Guide the pre-sales investment with the value of each opportunity, challenging and right-sizing when appropriate. Through a collaborative partnership with stakeholders across the company, engage in marketing and business development campaigns to grow the pipeline. Ensure high-integrity hand-offs to post sales teams. In partnership with others in the GTM team, ensure Solution Consulting provides the best Intapp advantages to RFP’s. Ensure the collaboration across all pre-sales, resources including Value Engineering, to maximize the opportunity size and Intapp advantage. Develop and drive pre-sales best practices, including discovery sessions and dry runs, resulting in the best possible demonstrations of the Intapp advantage. Ensure all opportunities are receiving the required Solution Consulting engagement to demonstrate and establish the Intapp advantage. Manage pipeline of pre-sales proof of concept projects and ensure delivery that clarifies the Intapp advantage and compels clients to move forward with Intapp. Run regular business reviews with sales management to ensure alignment on priorities and progress on key deals. Collaborate with sales management and sales account executives to plan account strategies through participation in informal and formal account reviews. What you will need: 10 years of enterprise software pre-sales experience 5 years of enterprise software pre-sales leadership and management experience Compelling experience working in and selling into the financial services industries Track record in building and developing high-performance diverse teams Strong knowledge of enterprise software including architecture and best practices Exemplary communications skills, proven with the ability simply communicate complexities with executive staff, business sponsors, and other key stakeholders. Your actual base salary will be determined by factors such as relevant experience, geographic location, and internal equity.
