Integrated Resources Inc is Hiring a Remote Risk Adjustment Coder
Location: New York, NY, 10004 -Remote
Initial Duration: 3 months with possible extension
Pay range: $25.- $30/hr. on w2.
Responsibilities:
- Seeking medical coder with experience in reviewing medical records for purposes of ICD-10-CM diagnostic coding and Risk Adjustment condition validation.
- You will be responsible for searching for medical records in an EHR interface and identifying and coding chronic conditions and social determinants of health based on ICD-10 coding guidelines.
- Maintain accurate spreadsheets of findings, including notes on any unique circumstances that may require further review.
- Adhere with HIPAA privacy guidelines.
- Ground coding in current ICD-10-CM guidelines, AHA Coding Clinics, and rules, and regulations related to Risk Adjustment and HCC coding.
- Certified Professional Coder or Certified Risk Adjustment credential from the AAPC
- Familiarity with ICD-10 coding guidelines.
- Minimum 6 months experience in medical coding
- Preference for experience in Risk Adjustment or HCC coding.
