Exact Job Title : Product Development Specialist

As an Product Specialist, you will be a critical contributor to the creation and management of our Private Label business.

You will be accountable in attaining budgeted sales, margin, and winning market share within the business. This role will be directly involved with driving pricing, product, display, reporting, and go-to-market strategy of our Own Brands.

We are looking for creative merchandising and marketing leaders who push boundaries, for the consumer and for the business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Leverage insights and data to ensure that Client Brands are and continues to be ahead of the market for our customers
  • Monitor operational opportunities and communicate with team on ideas for improvement of assortment and messaging of our private brands
  • Close collaboration with key internal stakeholders, cross-functional teams, and suppliers
  • Superior financial acumen
  • Responsible for contributing to product quality, costs and packaging
  • Key support in brand strategy creation
  • Manage private label assortment across store and digital channels
  • Prepare high quality materials to support presentations to senior leadership and other internal groups

Required Qualifications :

  • Meet educational requirements (see education section)
  • Be able to maintain a hybrid schedule (in office Tue-Thurs) in our Woonsocket Headquarters
  • 0-5 years experience in a business environment (preferably Retail or Client)
  • Knowledgeable in Excel and other Microsoft systems
  • ok for candidate to have no full time experience IF recently graduating from college. And if a recent grad, must have Intern experience.
