Manufacturing Technician performs functions associated with all manufacturing operations, including set-up and calibration tasks, as well as performing rework and quality testing related to the production of parts, components, subassemblies and final assemblies. Essential Duties And ResponsibilitiesEstablish operating equipment specifications and improve manufacturing techniques.Assists with resolving technical issues, as well as maintenance of production equipment.Experience working in aseptic fill/finish, filling isolators.Experience working with single use manufacturing consumables such as bags, tube sets, bioreactors, columns and process manifolds.Previous experience working in GMP manufacturing.Experience with large scale buffer, media or solution preparation, encompassing weigh & dispense, buffer preparation, transfer and aseptic filtration.Ability to write and communicate routine reports and correspondence.Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.Other Duties :Other special projects and/or duties may be assigned by Management.Language, Mathematical, and/or Reasoning AbilityAbility to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.Ability to write routine reports and/or correspondence.Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization and in a high pressure environment.Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.Physical DemandsWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear.
