Graphic Designer

We are currently seeking a talented and creative Graphic Designer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong eye for design, a passion for creativity, and the ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team. As the valued member of our in-house creative team, you'll work collaboratively with individuals and teams across the organization to develop impactful, on-brand, and strategic designs that directly contribute to our company's overall success and help amplify the IREG brand.

In general, this person is highly-motivated to join our team/mission and can see themselves THRIVING in this role for years to come. They should also be naturally very organized, and love making sure things happen on time and efficiently. This person should rarely need to be "managed" as they take ownership of their work.

Tasks may include, but are not limited to the following:

• Shape and elevate the visual design for all creative marketing deliverables across all channels for IREG; social, email, digital ads, event experiences, swag, presentation templates, infographics, landing pages, digital brochures and more.
• Work closely with sales & marketing team to design content for all media types.
• Ensure proper implementation of brand standards for cohesiveness and alignment.
• Partner with colleagues in product design for ad hoc cross-functional work
• Creates collateral and wide-ranging design needs for each community upon request (resident event flyers/invitations, floorplan edits, community announcements, etc.)
• Originate unique marketing campaigns and develop the creative artwork/copy.
• Propose new advertising vehicles/concepts for discussion.
• Help generate cost efficient marketing event ideas.
• Monitor the success of each campaign and use the data to better improve future creative efforts.
• Capture high quality images and video footage of properties and events to use for marketing.
• Contribute to brainstorming sessions by pitching new and exciting creative ideas and identifying areas for improvement.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Marketing, Graphic Arts or Illustration
• 1-2 years of experience in graphic design and creative design
• Strong ability with Adobe suite (Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign).
  • Potential case study may be required.
• Critical thinking and problem-solving mindset. Strong research and analytical skills desired.
• Demonstrated abilities in organization, communication and effective interpersonal skills.
• Industry related experience in Multi-family, Senior Housing, Independent-style or Assisted Living preferred, but not required.

Must display genuine interest in seniors and compassion for the aging; must possess an openness in maintaining a multi-disciplined team approach; must possess ability to establish, maintain and strengthen good working relationships with community staff; must possess good skills in planning, organizing, directing and managing all work assignments. Must possess knowledge of and/or be trained to effectively negotiate relevant software including, but not limited to, Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Word, Microsoft PowerPoint, and Internet resources. Must be efficient in successfully completing all work assignments; must be knowledgeable and supportive of the Community’s marketing philosophy and objectives; must be flexible and open to change; may be required to work extra hours.

Remote working can be worked towards, but initial expectation is in office 5 days a week.
