Primary Responsibilities

The On Site Lead for IPS will effectively meet the needs of major customer projects thru implementing, overseeing, and assisting in their successful on-site installation and commission. Perform a variety of tasks that support our quality and safety missions. Help develop and retain business by providing outstanding customer service.

Essential Functions

• Be willing to travel out of town for extended periods of time.
• Assure that IPS safety protocols are being followed and that project sites are in optimum safe condition. Take measures to stop IPS personnel or subcontractors from working on sites that do not meet safety criteria, or where a known safety issue arises.
• Oversee building permit application process and follow thru to assure approved permit(s) required for installation are received and in place.
• Coordinate with customer’s installation and/or construction schedule.
• Coordinate all IPS sub-contractors.
• Use and understand company software for obtaining job specific information.
• Obtain and maintain any necessary product certifications.
• Attend manufacturer and company specified training programs as required.
• Available and willing to work after normal business hours and weekends per the demands of the project.
• Review completed projects on-site to develop punch lists and quality issues.
• Must be able to perform work with little supervision
• Must be knowledgeable in reading blueprints, specifications, bulletins, proposals, contracts, and schedules.

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma
• Must have 3-5 years of experience as a technician or related industry or technical experience
• OSHA-30 hour certification
• Must be efficient and productive in a fast-paced environment
• Must be able to navigate company software, enter data, and send communication. Knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel a plus.
• Must possess excellent customer service skills for both internal and external customers
• Must maintain First Aid and CPR Certification

Physical Requirements & Environment

• Must be able to bed, Kneel, stoop, crawl, climb ladders both caged and un-caged as well as stairs and other equipment.
• Required to stand and walk
• Maximum unassisted lift = 75lbs
• All employees of IPS are subject to random drug testing per our Drug Free Safety Policy
• Background check required. Must have and maintain a clean driving record (no DUIs or other serious violations within the past three years).
