JOB SUMMARY:

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in programming CNC Lathes and Mills as well as knowledge of troubleshooting. This position requires the ability to program using SolidWorks, CAD and CAMWorks. The ideal candidate must be able to interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings, as well as an understanding of the principles of precision measurement and quality control. The successful candidate will be able to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

WHAT WILL YOU DO:

  • Program using SolidWorks, CAD, and CAMWorks.
  • Set up and select tooling per the program and the machine.
  • Perform regular maintenance and troubleshooting on CNC Lathes and Mills.
  • Perform quality checks on parts produced by CNC Lathes and Mills.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
  • Keep accurate records of production output.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS FOR SUCCESS:

  • Minimum of five (5) years’ experience with SolidWorks, CAD and CAMWorks on CNC Lathes and Mills.
  • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Must be highly experienced in measuring parts using a tape measure, calipers, micrometers and other precision measuring instruments.
  • Must be highly organized and have exceptional time management skills.
  • Working environment is in an industrial setting that is non-climate controlled.
  • Maintain physical condition appropriate to the performance of assigned duties and responsibilities which include walking, climbing, standing, bending, crouching, stooping, stretching, reaching, heavy lifting up to 50 lbs., or similar actives for extended periods of time.
  • All employees must complete pre-employment screening to include drug test and a physical.
