Part Time JOB COACH

Integrated Life Choices is seeking a Job Coach to support adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities that are either seeking competitive employment and/or currently employed in the community.

To be successful in this position one must be able to provide person-centered support to meet the needs of the people we support within the work environment.

Responsibilities include:

• Conducting job analysis to identify job duties
• Developing specific plans to best assist the people we support in being as independent as possible (which includes teaching self-management strategies, comprehending job expectations and workplace policies)
• Providing day to day opportunities which support and guide current and future employees in achieving goals
• Job Coach must be able to model productive behavior as well as teach life improving and daily skills.

Requirements

 Job Coach requirements include:

• Must be 19 years of age
• Must have a High School Diploma or equivalent
• A valid driver's license
• 2 years work experience supporting individuals with disabilities (preferred)
• Bachelors Degree (preferred)
• Ability to calculate and complete basic math transactions
• Cash handing experience (preferred)
• Strong verbal and written communication
• Ability to read and interpret policies, procedures, instructions and detailed material
• Resume building experience (preferred)
• Able to create woodart, make body scrubs, lotions etc.
