Integrated Healthcare Systems is Hiring a Bilingual Medical Assistant Near Riviera, FL

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team. As a Medical Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and assisting healthcare professionals in various clinical and administrative tasks. Duties:
- Perform vital signs assessments, including measuring blood pressure, pulse rate, temperature, and respiratory rate
- Assist with patient examinations and procedures under the supervision of healthcare professionals
- Administer medications as directed by healthcare providers
- Collect and prepare laboratory specimens for testing
- Perform basic laboratory tests, such as urinalysis and blood glucose monitoring
- Assist with patient education and provide instructions on medication administration, diet, and lifestyle modifications
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including medical history, symptoms, and treatment plans
- Schedule appointments, coordinate referrals, and manage medical records
- Handle administrative tasks such as answering phone calls, updating patient information, and managing insurance forms

Skills:
- Strong knowledge of human anatomy and physiology
- Proficiency in taking accurate vital signs measurements
- Familiarity with medical coding and billing procedures
- Experience in medication administration and dosage calculations
- Excellent patient care skills with a compassionate and empathetic approach
- Ability to perform basic X-ray procedures (if applicable)
- Basic life support (BLS) certification preferred
- Outstanding customer service skills with the ability to provide exceptional patient service
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; completion of a Medical Assistant program preferred
- Certification or registration as a Medical Assistant is highly desirable
- Minimum of 3 years experience working in a medical office or healthcare setting is preferred
