The Support Technician is responsible for all operational aspects of support functions. Effective interpersonal skills matched to strong technical skills are key to this position. This role serves as an on-site technician, working closely with our Executive users, Business Apps, Network, Server, and Information Security and will require on-call support rotation. While this role will primarily support our Coralville, Iowa operations, a Support Technician will also provide assistance to our associates working remotely and globally. In this role you will have the opportunity to: Installation, configuration, troubleshooting a variety of hardware and software platforms via phone, web and in-person channels. This includes desktops, printers, thermal label printers, lab equipment, cameras and more. Configure and maintain laptop and desktop PCs imaged with Windows 10, 11, and Mac OS, including advanced hardware/software troubleshooting, including Microsoft Apps. Create and maintain effective documentation for both users and technicians to enable recurring tasks to be completed quickly and consistently across the business. The essential requirements of the job include: High School diploma or higher with a minimum two years supporting end-users in person, via phone, and in an enterprise-level corporate IT environment. Experience within Microsoft enterprise-level corporate environment a must: Active Directory, Win10, MS Apps, etc. Some lifting (greater than 25 pounds) may be necessary; Facilities, Materials, and IT employees occasionally must lift at least 50-75 pounds.
