Customer Service Associate 
Pharmaceutical manufacturer is in need of a qualified Customer Service Associate to be responsible for all sales order management activities in SAP, creating/maintaining current and accurate records as related to customer master information records, material master records, pricing conditions, forecasting, sales order entry, sales order maintenance, delivery creation, invoicing, and archiving.
Responsibilities: 
  • Addresses all customer inquiries in a timely and professional manner, including but not limited to requests for information, sales order confirmations, sales order status, expedite requests, acknowledgments, periodic reports, complaints, returns, and customer-owned inventory tracking.
  • Utilizes customer portals for sales order confirmations, changes, shipping notices, etc. as required.
  • Acts as Voice of the Customer, by working closely with Planning, Production, Procurement, Quality Control, Quality Assurance, and Warehouse to drive organization to ensure customer shipments are completed on time and customer expectations are met.
  • Coordinates materials and addresses inquiries and special requests from Specialty Intermediate (SI) customers.
  • Handles stability billing as well as month-end billing for technical transfer activities and other project work.
  • Chairs regular client meetings/conference calls.
  • Prepares both internal and external order fulfillment status reports on a regular basis, maintaining change notices, scheduling changes, partial shipments, etc.
  • Responsible for monthly reporting of metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs), such as OTIF (On Time in Full), forecast accuracy, and API consumption, as well as any ad hoc requests.
  • Assures Manufacturing Supply Agreements (MSAs) terms and conditions are adhered to.
  • Actively participates in annual and periodic inventories.
  • May substitute for supervisor or other team members or perform other non-routine projects as assigned.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 3 years experience in Supply Chain or Customer Service Operations
  • Experience working with Enterprise Information Systems (SAP) and Key Performance Indicator (KPI) metrics
  • Excellent reading, writing and verbal skills
  • Above average Math skills
  • Excellent team player, strong complaint resolution skills, strong negotiation skills
  • Proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint and SAP
  • Strong attention to detail
