inSync Staffing is Hiring a Packaging Technician Near Orrville, OH

Contract to Hire!
3rd Shift: Sunday to Thursday, 10:00 PM - 6:30 AM

As a Packaging Technician, you will oversee various packaging functions to ensure products are prepared for storage or shipment according to specifications. Your responsibilities will include filling, marking, labeling, banding, tying, packing, and labeling containers.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain the highest level of quality in all packaging processes.
  • Place filled containers into shipping boxes, label, tape boxes shut, and stack them on pallets according to specifications.
  • Record and submit operational and production data accurately.
  • Clean machinery and workstations using rags, solvents, and scrapers after each job.
  • Replenish packaging supplies such as boxes, cartons, glue, and labels as needed.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
  • Preferably three to six months of related experience and/or training.
  • Proficient in using computers, copiers, scanners, and fax machines.
  • Familiarity with Outlook Express, Excel, and Word.
  • Experience with UPS software is advantageous.
