Maintenance Technician

Location : North Kingstown, RI

Pay Rate : $25.00 / hr

Duration : 7 months

Hours : 8 : 00 a.m. to 5 : 00 p.m.

Responsibilities :

• Perform maintenance, repair, and calibration of electrical and hydraulic equipment according to specifications and requirements.
• Conduct electrical safety tests on equipment.
• Inspect all equipment upon arrival at the Equipment Centre.
• Ensure calibration of tools used for wind turbine installation and service.
• Test, calibrate, operate, and repair hydraulic, mechanical, and electronic measuring equipment.
• Perform fault finding, strip down, and diagnostics of defective hydraulic equipment.
• Work in a laboratory setting following procedures carefully throughout the calibration procedure.
• Test, calibrate, and maintain / repair hire stock of instruments, client's equipment, laboratory equipment, and other equipment.

Education :

• Basic knowledge of electrical and hydraulic maintenance of tools / equipment and calibration.
• Engineering background preferred.

Qualifications :

• Understanding of electrical and hydraulic tooling.
• Previous experience in service / repair / maintenance.
• Experience working in an ISO environment.
• Good team player with the ability to work to deadlines.
• Knowledge of MS Office.
