Inventory Clerk
Pay Rate / Range : $18.00
Hours : 7 : 00 a.m. to 3 : 30 p.m. M-F
Location : Montgomery, AL
Duration : 3 months
Job Description :
- Count merchandise in stock and accurately record totals in inventory records.
- Compare physical inventories with office records or compute figures from records such as sales orders, production records, or purchase invoices to ensure accuracy of current inventory.
- Verify clerical computations against physical count of stock and adjust errors in computation or count, or investigate and report reasons for discrepancies.
- Generate reports such as inventory balances or shortages to inform management of inventory status.
- Prepare lists of depleted items and recommend surveys of defective or unusable items for further action.
Additional Requirements :
- Experience operating a stand-up forklift and pallet jack.
- Capable of working in environments with temperatures between 0 F and 34 F.
