Job description:
Responsible for assembling wire cable assemblies and small wire harnesses from customer schematic drawings and job orders using hand tools and small hand-held power tools. Under the general direction of a Team Leader, the Assembler will be responsible for assembling wire cable assemblies and wire harnesses from customer schematic drawings and job orders using hand tools and small hand-held power tools; perform other related duties as required
Experience and skills:
- Highly focused and detailed oriented
- Read and comprehend simple written instructions, sentences, and paragraphs in work-related documents
- Eye/hand coordination
- Use the English measuring system
- Must be able to read a ruler down to at least 1/8 of a inch
- Work standing up or sitting down as needed
- Read and comprehend simple written instructions, sentences, and paragraphs in work-related documents.
- Must be able to use the English measuring system.
- Must be able to lift up to 45 lbs.
- Wiring comprehension preferred, but not required.
