We are seeking an experienced, competitive, licensed Agent/Producer to generate new personal and/or commercial lines of business. You will sell and negotiate insurance plans that match the needs of your prospective customers. Our agents do more than provide insurance policies - they provide customers with a complete experience and peace of mind by developing and building relationships with their clients. Requirements:

• P&C insurance license for Kansas and Missouri (L&H license a plus)
• Proven work experience as an insurance agent with extensive knowledge of various insurance coverages
• Knowledge of insurance management systems
• Friendly and professional demeanor
• Ability to communicate, present, influence and sell effectively
• Basic computer skills to include knowledge of Microsoft Office products and Adobe
• Ability to explain detailed policy concepts in a simple way
• Above average analytical skills to determine prospective client needs

Responsibilities:

• Generate sales leads from various engagement initiatives
• Proactively contact leads and schedule appointments to recommend appropriate policies, quotes and coverages
• Determine specific client needs by researching current coverage and options and grow and maintain business through product sales, cross-sales, referrals, your own circle of influence and renewals
• Meet with existing clients to perform annual reviews and provide information about policies, answer questions and evaluate needs for additional coverage
• Obtain underwriting approval through completion of coverage applications
• Constantly update job knowledge and learn about new products and services

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $38,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
