Insurance Advantage is Hiring a Sales Consultant and Enrollment Specialist Near West Columbia, SC

Job Description: Sales Consultant and Enrollment Specialist

Insurance Advantage is a Full-Service insurance brokerage form, specializing in Group and Individual health insurance, Medicare, Supplemental products, Annuities and Life Insurance. With offices in West Columbia, South Carolina and Nashville, Tennessee, we focus primarily in the Southeast region. As part of our growth strategy, we recognize a need to grow our sales and support staff to assist us in servicing and maintaining our new and current clients and position our agency for the future.

We have an immediate full-time opening for an individual that can assist us with our growth and who is able to handle the following responsibilities and has the requisite qualifications.

Responsibilities:

· Interact with clients in a professional and courteous manner

· Demonstrate proficiency in understanding of all contracted ACA and Medicare carriers and products and align their products with customer needs

· Maintain Agency CRM, client files for compliance, and meticulous notes of client interactions, issue resolution, and enrollment fulfillment

· Provide consultation via phone, Zoom, or in-person with clients to explain plans and products, answer questions, and assist with enrolling applicants in their chosen plan.

· Engage with current and new clients on enrollments and renewals, carrier and plan selection and fulfillment, needs/risk assessment, and additional product options

· Assist Operations Manager with enrollments, sales tracking and reporting, client retention and management

· Coordinate client communications and “touch points’ throughout the year

· Work with all carriers and carrier representatives, as well as General Agencies, to understand products, enrollment systems and platforms, renewals, and marketing activities

· Implement client enrollments/renewals, New Hires and terminations, census changes, and year-end reporting and tax documents

· Assist Agency owners with various tasks/processes/interactions to improve efficiencies and time management opportunities

· Aid with other tasks/projects/duties/responsibilities as requested

Qualifications:

· Meticulous attention to detail, organization, and follow through

· Proficient in MS Office and social media platforms. CRM experience a plus

· Must be able to process lots of information, problem solve, pivot between multiple tasks and projects, think critically, and provide solutions to complex issues

· Ability to remain calm under pressure, provide education and resources to clients, and maintain a professional temperament and attitude

· SC Licensed in Life and Health preferred, otherwise must become a licensed agent and maintain all requirements for licensing and carrier appointments

· A self-starter able to work with limited direction and maintain the highest levels of integrity, ethical standards, and honesty

· Willing to travel to client locations as needed and occasionally to Nashville office
