Instructor

Job Description:

Institute of Musical Arts is seeking a passionate and experienced instructor to lead classes in San Antonio, TX. We are looking for individuals who are passionate about teaching, motivating, and inspiring our students to learn new skills. The Instructor will be responsible for helping students develop new skills through engaging class instruction. The Instructor will also be responsible for helping students find their way through the course material and successfully complete the course. The Instructor will also be responsible for working with parents on their student's success at the end of the program.

Responsibilities:

• Instruct in San Antonio, TX.
• Assist with registration, payment, and student orientation.
• Attend all required trainings, including student orientation and mandatory trainings during program’s first week.
• Attend all required classes, including student orientation and mandatory trainings during program’s first week.
• Attend all required professional development trainings, including professional development days during program’s first week.
• Attend all required staff meetings, including attendance at staff meetings during program’s first week.
• Assist in creating lesson plans during student’s first day of class and throughout the program.
• Assist in creating curriculum for classes and assisting with class schedule throughout the program.
• Assist in creating lesson plans during student’s first day of class and throughout the program.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour
