The Institute of Living, one of the first mental health centers in the U.S., remains one of America's leading not-for-profit centers for patient care, research and education in the fields of behavioral, psychiatric and addiction disorder. Through our dedicated, experienced and skilled clinicians, we provide patients and their families with the highest quality of personalized care. Programs are offered for children, adolescents and adults struggling with mental illness as well as offering services specializing in Anxiety, Eating Disorders, and Geriatric Services.
Job Summary
In this position, you will be working in the Right Track/LGBTQ Specialty Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP). This program works with LGBTQ young adults (aged 18-26) who struggle with mental illness to develop the ability to identify and modulate stress and stigma, strengthen family and family-of-choice connections, expand individual positive and creative coping skills, and capitalize on personal strengths. Prospective applicants should have experience and/or desire to work in a group based program with a focus on working with sexual and gender minority young adults.
