Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Budget Analyst to join our team. As a Budget Analyst, you will be responsible for managing and analyzing financial data to assist in the development and implementation of budgetary plans. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Duties:
- Develop and maintain budgetary guidelines and procedures
- Monitor and analyze financial data to ensure compliance with established standards
- Collect and review data from various sources to prepare accurate budget reports
- Assist in the preparation of budget proposals and forecasts
- Conduct financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement
- Collaborate with department managers to review budget requests and provide recommendations
- Participate in the development of cost-saving initiatives
- Ensure adherence to FDA regulations and Good Clinical Practice (GCP) guidelines
- Provide support in the preparation of financial reports for internal and external stakeholders
- Assist in the monitoring of project budgets, including tracking expenses and identifying cost-saving measures
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
- Proven experience as a Budget Analyst or similar role
- Strong knowledge of financial principles and practices
- Proficiency in data collection, analysis, and reporting
- Familiarity with FDA regulations and clinical development processes
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other financial software applications
