Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Access Control Specialist to join our team. As an Access Control Specialist, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting access control systems for our clients. This is a crucial role in ensuring the security and safety of our clients' facilities.

Responsibilities:
- Install and configure access control systems, including hardware and software components
- Conduct site surveys to determine the best placement of access control devices
- Program and customize access control systems based on client requirements
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues with access control systems, including hardware and software malfunctions
- Pull, terminate, dress, label, and test CAT6 cabling, experience with fiber optic cabling is a plus
- Collaborate with clients to understand their security needs and provide appropriate solutions
- Provide training to clients on how to use access control systems effectively
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in access control technology

Requirements:

- Drivers License with clean driving record
- Ability to work nights and weekends as needed.
- Field service experience in the installation and maintenance of access control systems
- Knowledge of low voltage electrical systems and wiring
- Certification in relevant areas such as Access Control or Low Voltage Systems is preferred
- Familiarity with electrical and telecommunication codes, such as NEC (National Electrical Code)
- Ability to read blueprints and schematics
- Strong problem-solving skills to detect and resolve issues with access control systems
- Experience with these manufacturers systems; ICT, CDVI, Axis, 2N, and Galaxy is a plus.
