What You Can Expect

***Must be willing to travel to Oklahoma City 1-2 days per month. Overnight not required.***

This position is responsible for all aspects of Alpha construction materials; inventory and purchasing/vendor management as well as overseeing the operations of the warehouse. Warehouse responsibilities include tracking materials, keeping warehouse clean and organized, counting inventory, purchasing materials, and supervision of delivery driver.

• Manage all aspects of purchasing and inventory control including data entry and reporting in purchasing system
• Monitor inventory levels to make sure materials are in stock
• Responsible for accuracy of all inbound shipments including checking supplier counts, and reporting discrepancies to carrier and supervisor.
• Maintains shipping records such as returned materials, damage, discrepancies, etc.
• Verify inventory levels with system cycle counts against physical counts
• Carefully handle materials and learn material components, scope systems, task codes, etc.
• Maintain organization and cleanliness of warehouse
• Drive delivery truck as needed. Deliveries will take you around the Tulsa Metro, Oklahoma City, and Northwest Arkansas.
• Move materials in warehouse and box truck via forklift and/or pallet jack
• Ensure culture of safety is at forefront of decisions in warehouse
• Enter data in different databases and spreadsheets

To Be Successful

• High school diploma or equivalent required; College degree preferred
• 2-4 years Purchasing/Inventory/Warehouse Management experience required
• 2 years supervisory experience preferred
• Construction industry experience preferred
• Outlook and Microsoft Office skills required (strong proficiency in Excel and Word)

Certificates and Licenses

• Valid CDL B Driver's License preferred (and acceptable/clean Motor Vehicle Report)
• Forklift Certification required
• DOT medical card
