Skills/Duties

• Cannon Certification is a plus. My client will be completely a Cannon environment by 2027. Right now, there is a mix of Cannon, HP, Brother and Xerox printers.
• Understands vendor contracts and how to partner with the needed vendors.
• Must possess excellent communication and customer service ability as it pertains to business partnering with end-users and vendors.
• Must have excellent investigative skills as there are several printers my client is still trying to locate due to acquisitions of new shops and companies.
• Provides copier repair service to existing accounts by analyzing work orders; investigating complaints; conducting tests; resolving problems.
• Performs preventative maintenance and repair services on office equipment by analyzing system problems; troubleshooting, ordering, and gathering components and parts; completing installation; performing tests.
• Maintains rapport with end-users by examining complaints; identifying solutions; suggesting improved methods and techniques; recommending system improvements.
• Documents service and installation actions by entering data and completing reports.
• Works together in a teamwork environment with dispatchers, service manager, and other customer service staff.
• Must be adept at using computers and able to perform basic print and scan connectivity installations.
• Must have experience with Canon, Brother, HP, Xerox, or Konica Minolta products.
• Must have electronic and mechanical troubleshooting ability.
• Certified in A or equivalent training preferred.
