Title: Cloud Data Warehouse Analyst
Location: 100% Remote
Duration: Initial 6 month duration, with potential extension
Compensation: $50/hour to $80/hour
Work Requirements: US Citizen, GC Holders or Authorized to Work in the U.S.
 
Cloud Data Warehouse AnalystRequirements and design analyst for an enterprise Cloud Data Warehouse.
Functional & Technical Data Engineering Requirements:

• Engage business stakeholders to gather, analyze and document functional data requirements for cloud data engineering projects.
• Excel in relationship building and communication effectiveness to collaborate and document end-users' data needs and requirements.
• Identify data requirements including new sources of data and specific data fields (including sensitive data) driven by business reporting & analytics use cases.
• Develop detailed requirements documentation, high level requirements deck, and requirements feature work items with acceptance criteria (e.g., Azure DevOps, JIRA).
• Relate requirements to design by performing data profiling and translating requirements to detail designs.
• Coordinate with data engineering delivery teams to address requirements clarification questions in the implementation phase.
• Agile knowledge and experience preferably as Product Owner/Product Manager experience to prioritize and accept work.
• Experience working in agile team/Agile Release Train.
• Strong SQL Skills and oral/writing communication skills.
• Desired: Retail bank experience; SAFe certifications (Leading SAFe or SAFe PO/PM or equivalent certifications); knowledge in Azure Synapse, Databricks, PowerBI, Tableau, Data modeling.
