Inspire Specialty Hospital is a 31 bed Long-Term Acute Care Hospital located in Midwest City. We are looking for an experienced Healthcare Clinical Liaison/Marketer.

Responsibilities

• Receive referral inquiry from providers, facilities or any customer source

• Provide on-site clinical assessment and education in-service to referring providers

• Assist referral sources with identification of appropriate patients and educate regarding the admissions criteria

• Communicate transfer, admission, clinical and financial information to appropriate facility staff members

• Ensure that the facility is prepared for the admission

• Meet with patients and families to discuss the transfer process, anticipated treatment, expected outcome and financial implications

• Obtain necessary medical and financial information relevant to the completion of the admissions process

• Manage the facility relationship with referral sources as being the primary source for information regarding services

• Conduct regular visits to assigned hospitals and facilities to build and maintain relationships with Discharge Planners, Case Managers, Physicians and work to ensure that the facility is responding promptly and is meeting their care needs

• Maintain regular visits that serve as educational opportunities for the referring facility staff

• From time to time this position will be expected to perform on-call professional duties

• Attend meetings and participates on committees as required

• Assume responsibility for personal growth and development and maintains and upgrades professional knowledge and practice skills through attendance and participation in continuing education and in-service classes

Qualifications:

• Preferred - Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse with current licensure to practice professional nursing in Oklahoma

• Minimum of two years experience in a healthcare setting.

• Demonstrates ability to work with other health care clinicians, development of plan of care, and knowledge of third party reimbursement.

• Must be a licensed driver with 24-hour access to a reliable automobile that is insured in accordance with state and/or organization requirement
