Inspire Hospice is Hiring an Assistant Director of Clinical Services Near Kennesaw, GA

Job Summary

Inspire Hospice and Palliative Care continues to grow in the Cobb County and surrounding areas and is looking for a dedicated, experienced Assistant Director of Clinical Services (DCS) to assist in leading in Cobb County and surrounding areas. This position is primarily located in Kennesaw, Georgia; however, the ideal candidate must be willing to work throughout the surrounding service areas if needed. The Assistant DCS is responsible for overseeing the delivery of high-quality hospice care to patients of assigned interdisciplinary teams, including hospice nurses, aides, social workers and chaplains in coordination with the Hospice Medical Director. As a key leader for Inspire Hospice, this position is responsible for driving a positive, supportive culture where team members are recognized, rewarded and energized to exceed patient and family expectations.

Qualifications:

  • Current GA Registered Nurse (RN) licensure required.
  • At least one (1) year of hospice management or four (4) years of hospice nursing experience required.
  • Must be knowledgeable of hospice federal and state regulations, clinical practice and billing requirements (CTI's, Plans of Care, IDG, Face to Face, etc.).
  • Great leadership and customer service skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Supervise, lead and motivate the hospice clinical team including organizing schedules, interdisciplinary group meetings, admissions and re-certifications.
  • Monitor care provided by the clinical team and ensures the team meets clinical outcome goals and provides excellent customer service.
  • Recruit, interview, hire, educate, train and evaluate clinical team members to ensure adequate staffing levels at all times to provide quality hospice care and equip team with skills and competency to be successful in their roles.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with healthcare facilities, physicians and hospitals served by Inspire.
  • Providing assistance in assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of care.
  • Minimal on-call required and paid very competitively. This requirement has flexibility and not for long periods of time. We believe in all leaders having a work-life balance.
  • Plan and implement continuing education programs.
  • Assist in the development of organization goals.
  • Ensure compliance with all local, state and federal regulations regarding licensure and certification of personnel.
  • Maintain current knowledge of changes in the field of nursing and hospice care, sharing information with appropriate organization personnel.

Pay: $80,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
