Inspiration Day Treatment is looking for a motivated, compassionate, hard-working Peer Recovery Specialist to serve adults recovering from mental illness. This position is Monday through Friday 7:30 a.m. - 4:00 p.m., for someone who is outgoing and loves to motivate others to live up to their full potential. You will be required provide peer recovery support services to our clients as assigned in the treatment plan and document in a timely manner. Time management is essential for success in this position.

QUALIFICATIONS (Education, Training and/or Experience):

• Certified by the State of Arkansas as a Peer Recovery Specialist.
• Working knowledge of and ability to use personal computer for e-mail and electronic medical record
• Candidate must have a passion for working with people in need.
• Must pass a background check.
• Must have a valid driver's license.
• Experience working with adults who may be in crisis

ONGOING REQUIREMENTS:

• Obtain and maintain certification as Peer Recovery Specialist
• Capacity to function effectively within the context of the cultural beliefs, behaviors, and needs of clients and the community.
• Clean Driving Record and Background Check
• Certification in CPR, and Nonviolent Crisis Intervention (CPI)
