Inspirada Animal Hospital is seeking a full-time veterinary assistant to join our excellent team. We are a fast paced AAHA a credited animal hospital located in the Inspirada /Anthem community. We are a community inspired staff that has a variety of personalities that are passionate about providing our patients with high quality medical care and outstanding customer service. Our facility is fast-paced, the applicant must be able to stay positive, prioritize, multi-task, and stay organized. Experience working with animals is a benefit but not required. Full time 40hr a week 8 hour shifts with weekends and holidays being required.

Key Roles

· Maintaining medical records.

· Preparing surgical suite and surgical patients.

· Filling prescriptions.

· Performing laboratory work and diagnostic imaging.

· Restraining patients for exams

· Preparing exam room and collecting medical history

· Must be able to lift 40lb and stand for long periods of time
