The region’s leading network of healthcare providers, Inspira Health is seeking a full-time Social Worker to provide social work services and psychosocial/family assessments, including dialysis, collaborate with the interdisciplinary team in discharge planning for high-risk patients and develop and implement psychosocial activities. You will also be responsible for documenting both group and individual patient care intervention and outcomes in a timely manner.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in social work from an Accredited School of Social Work
- 1 years of experience in social work or related psychiatric field with demonstrated working knowledge of DSM IV manual, community resources, discharge planning activities, basic leadership skills and decision-making
- Thorough knowledge of the causation, symptoms and effects of mental illnesses
- Experience in an acute care hospital or inpatient psychiatric unit and knowledge of community resources are preferred
- Successful completion of ASWB Social Work LSW exam and ability to maintain a current New Jersey License (LSW, LCSW); LCSW preferred.
