MAJOR FUNCTION:
Provide professional nursing care through the nursing process. Meet the needs of

the patient, family, and multidisciplinary team through communication,coordination, and

evaluation. Comply with all policies and procedures; nursing standards of practice and

regulatory bodies .
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education:
You must be enrolled in a BSN or MSN program from an accredited school of professional nursing within six months of hire or rehire and graduate on or before the third employment anniversary date into a nursing position. * BSN or MSN graduates preferred.
*Grandfathered Exemption of Educational Requirement:
Hired on or before June 1, 2013 - IMC

Hired on or before August 4, 2015 - IMCW
Experience:
Medical Surgical nursing experience preferred. One-year clinical experience in

specialty area required for per diem positions, two years preferred
Certification/Licensure:
Current licensure with New Jersey State Board of Nursing.
American Heart Association BLS required
American Heart Association ACLS required within 6 months of hire
Critical Care Course required within 6months of hire
Dysrhythmia course required within 3months of hire
National Certification in area of specialty preferred
