MAJOR FUNCTION:

The Outreach Specialist will work with individuals to support and enhance their mental health and encourage healthy practices, while working in close collaboration with law enforcement, case managers, prosecutors, neighborhood and community leaders.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education & Experience:

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
• Two years' experience working in behavioral health or related field required.
• Experience working with legal and/or justice system preferred. A background in community-based work preferred.
• Bi-lingual proficiency in Spanish required.

Certifications/ Licensure:

• Valid NJ Driver’s license required.
