Inspira Health Network is Hiring a Coding Reimbursement Coordinator - HIM, Full-Time, Elmer Near Vineland, NJ

MAJOR FUNCTION:
Maintains data integrity utilizing multiple computer network products (Soarian Financials, Clinicals and eHIM, Coding application, Encoder, external vendor software) across the organization. Monitors various reports on a regular basis: outpatient and inpatient DNFB, finance, productivity, quality, etc.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education & Experience:
  • Associates degree in HIM, Management, or Computer Science preferred.
  • Other degrees or related coursework considered based on relevant work experience.
  • Three (3) years of acute care setting experience in HIM/Patient Business Office.
  • Previous experience with electronic records, patient registration and billing, and clinical system processes preferred.
Certification/Licensure:
  • Certified or eligible for one of the following:
    • Certified Coding Associate (CCA) and/or
    • Certified Coding Specialist (CCS) and/or
    • Registered Health Information Technician (RHIT)
    • Certified Revenue Cycle Representative (CRCR) through Healthcare Management Association
  • Required to be certified in one of the above after two years in position.

  • Possess excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication.
  • Excellent customer service, analytical, problem solving and presentation skills.
  • Ability to:
    • Organize and prioritize work.
    • Work effectively with rapidly changing priorities.
    • Articulate problems and offer solutions to resolve them.
    • Make decisions in the absence of a supervisor or manager.
    • Analyze data, problem solve, implement solutions to problems correctly, and write procedures for variety of computer-based tasks.
    • Work independently or in a team setting.

  • Must be willing to work throughout the South Jersey Healthcare System.
  • Ability to work various shifts, holidays, weekends, at any one of the Health Information Management Departments within the hospital system.
  • Travel between various facilities.
