As a Real Estate Transactions Manager, you will oversee and facilitate all aspects of real estate transactions, ensuring smooth and efficient processes until closing. You will be crucial in coordinating with various stakeholders, including sellers, brokers, lenders, and legal professionals, to ensure that transactions are completed accurately, on time, and in compliance with relevant regulations. In addition, you will be involved with, and an integral part of, the Acquisitions team, which will include financial analysis, modeling, and underwriting of value-added multifamily real estate transactions.

To thrive, you should have:

  • Bachelor's degree in real estate, business, finance, or a related field (preferred).
  • Previous experience in real estate transactions, preferably in acquisitions, with contract review and negotiation expertise.
  • Strong understanding of real estate laws, regulations, and transaction processes.

Your responsibilities as the Real Estate Transactions Manager will include: 

Transaction Coordination

  • Manage real estate transactions from contract to closing, serving as primary contact for stakeholders.
  • Coordinate with buyers, sellers, brokers, lenders, and other parties.
  • Ensure timely completion of all necessary documents.

Contract Management

  • Review and negotiate purchase agreements, loan documents, and other contracts.
  • Manage contract timelines and ensure compliance with regulations.

Due Diligence

  • Conduct thorough due diligence on properties and address issues.
  • Coordinate inspections and appraisals.

Financial Management

  • Secure financing and coordinate fund transfers for acquisitions.

Acquisitions

  • Assist with underwriting, prepare Investment Committee materials, and manage the Deal Pipeline.
  • Provide guidance and training to Acquisition Analysts.
