Insomnia Cookies is on a journey to become the most imaginative sweet indulgence brand in the world. As we grow our company and community of Insomniacs, we are actively interviewing candidates for a Product Development Intern for our Summer 2024 Internship program!

Position overview:

The selected Digital Product Intern will be responsible for applying their skills, education, and knowledge base to help the Insomnia Cookies Digital Product Management and Development department move projects along and reach their end-of-Summer goals. This internship will entail learning about and participating in our digital product development process including product management, digital roadmap strategy, competitive benchmarking, gathering feedback from stakeholders and driving the future of digital products for Insomnia Cookies. This intern will help with data analysis, competitive benchmarking, user testing and writing specifications to help develop and rollout new features on our products. The intern will have exposure to the full end to end development process of how feature requests and bugs are found, through the development and deployment of code as well as see how the strategy behind the roadmap for the future takes place. The internship is paid hourly at $15.00/hr, will require about 20-30 hours per week, and will work on-site out of our Philly HQ for the duration 10-week program.

• Must be enrolled in a bachelor’s degree program in Information Science and Technology, Business with a concentration in Systems/IT or Computer Science with an interest in Product Management
• Interested in data and any experience in working with food/retail is a bonus
• Must have availability to commute to the office on average 3 days per week
• An innate curiosity and desire to learn
• Interest in developing new digital products and features, passion for technology
• Strong organizational and project management skills
• Strong written and oral communications skills
• Must be comfortable with Microsoft Office products & remote meeting software (Slack, Teams, etc.)
• Being a cookie connoisseur is a plus!
