MRI Technologist

Seeking an experienced MRI Tech

Shift and Schedule : Mon-Fri from 10:30am - 7pm. Will require rotating call.

Position Summary

  • Practice technology founded upon theoretical knowledge and concepts, use equipment and accessories consistent with the purposes for which they were designed, and employ procedures and techniques appropriately.
  • Assess situations; exercises care, discretion, and judgment; assumes responsibility for professional decisions; and acts in the best interest of the patient.
  • Act as an agent through observation and communication to obtain pertinent information for the physician to aid in the diagnosis and treatment of the patient and recognizes that interpretation and diagnosis are outside the scope of practice for the profession.
  • Use equipment and accessories, employ techniques and procedures, perform services in accordance with an accepted standard of practice, and demonstrate expertise in minimizing radiation exposure to the patient, self, and other members of the healthcare team.
  • MRI safety procedures to include clearing MRI compatible devices prior to scans.

Skills, Knowledge and Abilities :

  • ARRT registered or ARMRIT registered
  • Must have 2 years of experience as a diagnostic technologist.

Number of Weeks: 13

Shift Information: Mon-Fri from 10:30am - 7pm. Will require rotating call.

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $67.00 - $68.00 per hour

Schedule:

  • Day shift
  • Monday to Friday

License/Certification:

  • BLS Certification (Preferred)
  • ARRT Certification (Preferred)

Ability to Commute:

  • Midland, TX 79701 (Required)

Ability to Relocate:
