Insight Surgical Hospital is a small, friendly, and minimally invasive surgical center and clinic with patient services second to none! We are proud of our fast-paced, patient-focused, team-oriented environment with professionals in neurosurgery, orthopedics, pain management, chiropractic, and podiatry specialties. Every member of our team is crucial to the patient experience and our success! Our Hospital and Clinic do not treat general illnesses, including COVID-19, and has required health safety measures in place for everyone prior to entering the facility, including temperature and symptom checks, required PPE and other health hygiene measures.
Job Summary:
We are seeking meticulous and friendly full time Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists (CRNA) to work in conjunction with lead anesthesiologists, physicians, and staff to support the delivery of patient care second to none! The CRNA will play a crucial role in the perioperative care of patients by administering anesthesia and monitoring their vital signs during surgery. The ideal candidate should be experienced, detail-oriented, and committed to providing safe and effective anesthesia services.
Duties:
  • Administer anesthesia to patients before, during, and after surgery.
  • Evaluate patients' medical history, conduct physical assessments, and determine the appropriate anesthetic plan with anesthesiologist.
  • Administer intravenous medications, gases, and other anesthesia agents to induce and maintain anesthesia during surgical procedures.
  • Monitor patients' vital signs, including heart rate, blood pressure, and oxygen levels, throughout the surgery.
  • Make adjustments to anesthesia levels and provide life support measures as needed to ensure patient safety.
  • Collaborate with the surgical team, anesthesiologists, surgeons, and other healthcare professionals to ensure the patient's well-being during surgery.
  • Administer post-operative care and monitor patients in the recovery room, ensuring a smooth transition from anesthesia to consciousness.
  • Educate and inform patients and their families about the anesthesia process and answer any questions or concerns.
  • Stay updated on the latest anesthesia techniques, equipment, and safety procedures to ensure best practices
  • Anesthesia will be delivered in various surgical procedures including, but not limited to; Neurosurgery, Orthopedics, Pain Management, and Podiatry

Qualifications:
  • Current CRNA certification and licensure.
  • Graduate from an accredited nurse anesthesia program.
  • Strong clinical skills and experience in administering various types of anesthesia.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and in a fast-paced surgical environment.
  • Dedication to patient safety and high ethical standards.
  • Current CPR and ACLS certification.
  • Willingness to participate in ongoing education and professional development.
*This job is Monday-Friday; 8-hour days
*Salary: $240,000/year
