Insight Xcite is looking for talented developers who can help us expand our ServiceNow practice. We have multiple Software Developer positions to fill supporting fully funded projects onsite with a client in Northern Virginia area. The successful candidate will help implement new features for complex, mission-critical, enterprise applications that bring data and features together with innovative user experiences. * Design and develop ServiceNow solutions to meet Sponsor mission requirements
* Maintain a good understanding of the customer's ServiceNow business needs
* Create and manage workflows, business rules, and scripts
* Provide ServiceNow integration support with external systems and data sources
* Configure application User Interface (UI)
* Define data tables, user interfaces and add business logic in the ServiceNow application
* Customize ServiceNow applications and facilitate roll out of new applications and modules and configure application UI, workflow, and API
* Follow an agile software development methodology for planning, implementing, and delivering ServiceNow capabilities
* Implement the full software development life cycle to support the deployment of custom applications in the ServiceNow platform
* Provide technical expertise on all technical questions related to assigned development on the ServiceNow platform Required Qualifications
* Active TS/SCI With Fullscope Poly Clearance is required
* Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future
* 3 years of experience with ServiceNow
* ServiceNow Certified Administrator Certification
* Creating and designing application tables within ServiceNow platform
* Development using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Java or developmental language.
* Demonstrated experience using relational databases
* Understanding of best practices across both commercial and federal sectors as it relates to workflow and process management
* Ability to communicate effectively in a fast-paced environment
* Fully capable with the Microsoft Office suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
* Bachelor's degree preferably in an IT related field 6 years of related experience; or a Master's with 4 years of experience; an Associates with 8 years of experience Desired Qualifications
* ServiceNow Certified Application Developer Certification
* Customization of the Application UI and workflow
* Demonstrated experience with ServiceNow data models, capabilities, and relationships
* Demonstrated experience with the ServiceNow Business Rules and the scripting aspects of the ServiceNow Platform
* Experience in scrum and agile frameworks for development to include task management, performing stand-ups and sprint reviews, gathering requirements, and creating documentation
* Experience interviewing stakeholders to gather system requirements, estimate the level of effort, develop conceptual designs, and implement ServiceNow solutions
* Ability to develop briefing slides
* Demonstrated experience with project management tools
* Development of reports according to ongoing customer needs
* Demonstrated experience formatting, layouts, coordinate complex text and graphics for management briefings
