Position Summary
  • The Network Engineer I assists in the installation and maintenance of network communications. Configures various network devices and services. Troubleshoots the network issues within the established guidelines.
  • Works on projects/matters of limited complexity in a support role.
  • Assist with root-cause analysis or production of After Action Reviews (AAR) of IS issues as needed.
  • Perform planned maintenance activities, including IOS updates & security patching.
  • Be conscious of changes and how it may affect the security of our network. Work with Security Operations to insure we protect our data and are compliant.
  • Participate in on-call support as needed by the business, to 24x7 critical infrastructure operations.
Minimum Requirements
  • High School diploma (or equivalent) or higher is required. Associate degree or higher preferred.
  • Requires 0-2 years of related network experience. Knowledge of Healthcare industry preferred.
  • Certifications in related network technologies are strongly desired. Network or CCNA required within one year in level one job role.
