Must Haves :

Ability to handle difficult customer situations and de-escalate situations
General knowledge of medical insurance and terminology.

Day to Day :
This candidate will be assisting patients in scheduling their appointments for outpatient services. They will be taking a minimum of 75-100 inbound calls per day.
Calls will include but are not limited to preregistration, coordinating patient schedules to maximize patient and physician satisfaction, estimating patient financial responsibility, collect insurance information, payment information, and deductible.
In addition, this candidate will ensure that the patient meets the hospital financial policies / guidelines for services scheduled.
