Insight Global is seeking an experienced Senior Business Analyst to join the Renewable Inventory Strategy Team. In this role, you will be responsible for inventory cost analysis, executive reporting, and providing actionable recommendations to drive down total cost. Ideal candidates will have superior analytical and presentation skills, and a drive for excellence and continuous improvement.

Applies expertise and strategic focus needed to conduct complex operational analyses and leads medium to large project teams that support informed decision making within the business unit. Key responsibilities include reviewing and approving findings to be presented to senior management, conducting statistical analyses, and coordinating with other business units regarding initiatives. Responsible for directing, mentoring and coaching the lower level analysts. Bachelor's degree preferred plus 8 or more years related experience.

Must-Have Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
• Experience in business analysis, preferably in a similar role.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced formulas, pivot tables, and data visualization techniques.
• Experience with executive reporting tools, such as PowerBI or Tableau.
• Strong analytical skills, with the ability to analyze complex datasets and identify trends and patterns.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate insights and recommendations to stakeholders at all levels.
• Proven ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and propose innovative solutions.
• Experience in the energy industry or a related field is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough inventory cost analysis, including monitoring stock levels, tracking cost fluctuations, and identifying areas for improvement.
• Develop and prepare executive reports on inventory performance, cost trends, and other key metrics.
• Utilize advanced analytics techniques to identify and analyze data trends, drawing insights from large datasets.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and validate data, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
• Identify opportunities for cost reduction, process improvements, and operational efficiencies, and make recommendations to achieve these goals.
• Present findings and recommendations to senior management and leadership teams in a clear and concise manner.
• Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and emerging technologies in data analysis and reporting.
