Responsibilities:
Develops, modifies and/or reviews drawings of electrical, mechanical or structural systems or components, according to established standards. Develops solutions to technical problems.
Coordinates project assignments with those of other engineers and technicians.
Reviews drawings supplied by vendors, clients, and engineers and architects and recommends necessary changes.
Prepares plans, drawing specifications, cost estimates, reports, field observations/punch list and responds to RFIs.
Researches code issues and works with City, State, and County officials.
Researches design options and documents findings for Project Engineers and/or Project Managers. .
Prepare, review and coordinate drawings from others in the discipline as well as other disciplines and coordination of the project with City, State, and County officials, and other outside agencies.
Assists with other duties assigned by Project Engineers and/or Project Managers.
May attend “kick-off” and design review meetings, and interacts with clients as his or her level of experience progresses.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in an Engineering discipline. preferred. Two year technical degree, required.
- 3 years of experience in the design of engineering systems, required.
- 3 years of experience working with REVIT and AutoCAD, required
- Possess EIT certification. preferred
