Insight Global Health is currently hiring for a Pharmacy Tech who specializes in The Pharmacy Purchasing Specialist, MM (Materials Management) provides support to the Pharmacy Department, under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist. The Pharmacy Purchasing Specialist, MM is responsible for all purchasing related activities at the Longwood location and reviewing and approving orders at all pharmacy locations. The Pharmacy Purchasing Specialist, MM participates in pharmacy supply chain management with internal departments and external vendors.

Qualifications:

Minimum Education:

• High School or GED required; Bachelor's degree preferred

Minimum Experience:

• 5 years of equivalent business/inventory control experience or 5 of years of DFCI Materials Management Technician experience with 3 years as a Materials Management Technician III; 1-years of prior pharmacy purchasing experience preferred. Pharmacy technician experience preferred.

License/Certification/Registration:

• Massachusetts Board of Pharmacy Registration as a Pharmacy Technician required within 6 months of employment.

Pay: $27.00 - $32.00 per hour
